Job summary

UC Davis Health's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting three full-time Academic Generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologists at the Assistant or Associate Health Sciences Clinical Professor level; salary based on experience.

The role combines clinical care in general OB/GYN, teaching, curriculum development, and scholarly activity within the University Women's Health group, with compensation under the Health Sciences Compensation Plan.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Completed Obstetrics & Gynecology residency or in final year.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• Experience in general obstetrics and gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care in general obstetrics and gynecology as part of UWH.
• Outpatient clinics and daytime hospitalist coverage in collaboration with UWH faculty.
• Obstetrical in-house night call and back-up home call per Compensation Plan.
• At-home gynecology call in rotation with subspecialties.
• Teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents in clinic, L&D, OR, and wards.
