Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System is seeking an academic non-invasive cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank to join our growing team. Training in CMR/CT or preventive cardiology is a plus.

The role offers the full scope of non-invasive cardiology within an academic setting, including CCU/inpatient consults, teaching, clinical/translational research, and opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training/experience in CMR/CCT or preventive cardiology strongly desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility to practice in New York State.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• General/Preventive cardiology office-based practice.
• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
• Academic environment with teaching and research opportunities.
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team involvement.
