Job summary

Albany Med Health System in New York seeks an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or full Professor) to join our growing team. Training and/or experience in Cardiovascular MRI/CT or Preventive Cardiology is desirable, with an opportunity to practice the full scope of non-invasive cardiology in a collaborative, academic environment.

The Division of Cardiology offers CCU and inpatient consult duties, teaching opportunities for medical students, residents and fellows, and

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training and/or experience in CMR/CT or Prevention strongly desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
• Comprehensive academic environment with opportunities for teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
• Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
• Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians.
