Albany Med Health System in New York seeks an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or full Professor) to join our growing team. Training in CMR/CT or Preventive Cardiology is a plus; opportunity to practice the full scope of non-invasive cardiology in an academic environment.

Albany Medical College, the division, offers teaching of medical students, residents and cardiology fellows with opportunities for clinical and translational research in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training/experience in CMR/CCT or Prevention strongly desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• General/Preventive cardiology office-based practice.
• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
• Academic environment with opportunities for teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
• Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
• Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians.
