Baystate Health in western Massachusetts is seeking an established Neurosurgeon to join the neuroscience division at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA. You will practice at Baystate Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center and major referral center for complex neurosurgical cases.

Qualifications

• ABMS BE/BC trained in Neurosurgery.
• A strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• See a wide variety of complex neurosurgical cases including spine degeneration, brain tumors, deep brain stimulation and trigeminal neuralgia along with neuroendovascular support.
• Call schedule: six days of call per month, including one weekend.
• Receive faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate at a rank commensurate with your academic accomplishments and experience. Opportunities to participate in clinical research and teaching are available.
• Candidates interested in a Neurosurgery hospitalist position with inpatient only duties and a set schedule are also encouraged to apply.
