Job summary

Baystate Health in western Massachusetts is seeking two fellowship-trained stroke neurologists to join our growing neurology division at Baystate Medical Center, the region's only level 1 trauma center.

You will join a well-established stroke team, participate in inpatient consults, stroke clinic, and telemedicine, and collaborate with UMass Chan Medical School Baystate. Academic activities include teaching residents and mentoring junior faculty, with potential leadership in the future.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in vascular neurology.
• Leadership experience in an academic department (3 years).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; mentoring and education experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to stroke calls across the hospital.
• Participate in stroke clinic, inpatient consults, and telemedicine consults.
• Contribute to conferences, lectures, and teaching of residents/medical students.
• Opportunity for academic leadership in the planned Neurology Residency program.
