Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ seek a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neuromuscular Neurologist to join as a full-time academic faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The candidate will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neuromuscular care while contributing to medical student and resident education.
The division leads the ALS Center of Excellence and will perform EMG/NCS in the hospital neurophysiology
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine or Clinical Neurophysiology.
- Expertise in EMG/NCS and electrodiagnostic medicine.
- Experience with neuromuscular ultrasound is welcome.
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neuromuscular care.
- Teach and mentor neurology residents, advanced practice providers, and medical students.
- Engage in clinical research including ALS trials and outcomes research.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care through the ALS Center of Excellence.
- Contribute to education of medical students and residents.
