Job summary

Rutgers Health in New Brunswick, New Jersey, seeks an academic Neuromuscular Neurologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and RWJBarnabas Health. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neuromuscular care, and contribute to the education of medical students and residents.

Responsibilities include performing EMG/NCS in the neurophysiology lab, participating in ALS Center of Excellence activities,

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and board certification or eligibility in neurology.
• Fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine or clinical neurophysiology.
• Expertise in EMG/NCS; neuromuscular ultrasound welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient neuromuscular care including ALS and motor neuron disease.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research and ALS Center of Excellence activities.
• Perform EMG/NCS in hospital neurophysiology lab, with technician support.
