Rutgers University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor in Neuromuscular Neurology to contribute to clinical care of patients with neuromuscular disorders, perform electrodiagnostic tests, and participate in teaching and research within the Department of Neurology at RWJUH.

The position requires an MD with an ACGME‑accredited neurology residency, board certification or eligibility, and a fellowship in neuromuscular disorders, with NJ license eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD with neurology specialty from an ACGME‑accredited program.
• Board certified or eligible in neurology.
• Fellowship in neuromuscular disorders or related clinical neurosciences.
• Eligible for New Jersey medical license.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with neuromuscular disorders in outpatient and hospital settings.
• Perform electrodiagnostic tests in outpatient and hospital settings.
• Attend consult service at RWJUH as scheduled by Chair/Division Chief.
• Participate in night and weekend call.
• Participate in departmental teaching, including lectures and supervision of residents.
