Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College offers academic leadership opportunities through its plastic surgery residency program, its medical school and opportunities for research.

The Division has an integrated residency with two residents per year and is involved in medical student education and research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency program.
• Board eligible or board certified in Plastic Surgery.
• Hold or be able to obtain NY medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• On-call coverage for hand procedures.
