Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College provides leadership opportunities through its residency program, medical school, and research opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completed plastic surgery residency or equivalent.
• Board eligibility/certification in plastic surgery.
• Licensed to practice medicine in New York (or eligible).
• DEA certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities as a microsurgeon in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Perform breast, head/neck, and lower-extremity microvascular reconstructions.
• General reconstruction procedures and on-call duties.
• Engage in academic duties including teaching and research.
