Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The position offers opportunities through the plastic surgery residency program, medical school, and research, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO, complete an approved Plastic Surgery residency, be board eligible/certified, and hold or obtain NY licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Plastic Surgery.
• Hold or be able to obtain New York state medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on‑call.
