Job summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This position offers faculty appointment with opportunities in teaching, research, and clinical care within Albany Medical College.

The ideal candidate will have completed Plastic Surgery residency, be board eligible/certified, hold NY licensure, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package including relocation and sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required for appointment as faculty.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Plastic Surgery.
• DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• On-call responsibilities for hand cases.
