The Academic Liaison ensures the alignment of vision, expectations, and outcomes between the After School Program (ASP) and the school day, with a focus on academic components. The Academic Liaison uses student data to inform planning and implementation, supports behavior and culture initiatives, and fosters collaboration between the ASP Site Coordinator and school leadership.
The Academic Liaison works primarily in a school setting, including classrooms, offices, and shared spaces, with occasional outdoor activities. The role involves frequent interaction with students and staff, standing or walking for extended periods, lifting materials up to 25 pounds, and using standard office and classroom equipment. Work conditions may vary depending on site needs.
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $50.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with salary benchmarks for similar roles. Compensation is in accordance with grant funding approval and program budget requirements.
