Job summary

Stony Brook University seeks an INTERVENTIONAL PULMONOLOGIST to join the Faculty in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. The successful candidate will expand clinical services, engage in research and teaching, and collaborate with Surgery, Radiology and Medical Oncology.

The role includes involvement with the Lung Cancer Evaluation Center and participation in the Fellowship Training Program. Tenure/Non-Tenure Track options apply; start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• MD or foreign equivalent or higher.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary; BC/BE in Critical Care Medicine.
• Successful completion of a Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology.
• Three or more years of experience in Interventional Pulmonology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Expand clinical service, research and teaching efforts.
• Collaborate with physicians in Surgery, Radiology and Medical Oncology.
• Involvement with Stony Brook's Lung Cancer Evaluation Center (LCEC) and inpatient/outpatient pulmonary services.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research and participate in Fellowship Training Program.
