Job summary

OU Health's Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with Interventional Pulmonology fellowship training to join our growing academic program.

Responsibilities include high-volume interventional procedures, outpatient clinics, and inpatient consults, with collaboration across thoracic surgery, oncology, and radiology within a multidisciplinary lung cancer program, plus teaching and research

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology.
  • Expertise in advanced bronchoscopic procedures including rigid bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, pleuroscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, and BLVR.

Physician – Pulmonary (Interventional Pulmonology)

Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and OU Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology to join a growing academic program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures, including rigid bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), pleuroscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR).
  • Participate in a high-volume interventional pulmonology service, outpatient subspecialty clinics, and inpatient consultative care.
  • Collaborate closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, and radiology within a multidisciplinary environment to support a comprehensive high-volume lung nodule and lung cancer program.
  • Engage in academic duties such as teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students, with opportunities to contribute to the development of an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship program.
  • Participate in clinical research and program development.
Qualifications
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology.
  • Expertise in advanced bronchoscopic procedures (rigid bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, pleuroscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, BLVR).
  • Strong clinical, academic, and research experience (preferred).
