Job summary

Tal Healthcare seeks a Senior Interventional Cardiologist to join a leading academic teaching hospital in New York. The role focuses on advanced interventional cardiology, inpatient and consultative services, and participation in medical education and research.

You will lead PCI procedures, interpret imaging, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while contributing to scholarly activities and quality improvement initiatives in a vibrant academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Successful completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship and Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional cardiology; more is welcomed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient consultative and procedural interventional cardiology services, including diagnostic/therapeutic cardiac catheterizations.
• Manage complex cardiovascular conditions (ACS, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock).
• Lead coronary interventions (PCI) with adherence to standards.
• Interpret cardiac imaging and hemodynamic data to guide treatment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, intensivists, and ER physicians for patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and departmental meetings to promote high-quality care.
• Provide emergency interventional cardiology coverage in a shared call rotation.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
