Job summary

McLeod Health seeks a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician for outpatient faculty in our new Internal Medicine Program. 0.05 FTE admin and 0.95 FTE clinical, with initial time split 50% outpatient precepting and 50% private practice, growing to two private-practice half-days weekly as the program expands.

The role includes teaching didactics, curriculum development, supervising clinical activities, and participating in ambulatory education alongside residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold ABIM Internal Medicine board certification or be board eligible.
• FM-trained physicians with >3 years teaching experience are considered if board-certified.
• Eligible for full licensure to practice medicine in South Carolina and unrestricted Medical Staff privileges.
