Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Florida Hospital in Sanford, FL in conjunction with University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking an exceptional Internal Medicine physician to join our residency program as core faculty.

The selected candidate will supervise and mentor residents and medical students, participate in didactic teaching, and contribute to scholarly activities while joining a large academic health system.

Qualifications

• ABIM certification required
• Per diem shifts
• Outpatient continuity clinic position
• Program will have 12 residents per academic year
• Prior experience in practice and resident teaching is preferred but not required
• Core faculty will actively participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students, didactic presentations, serving on committees, and participating in scholarly activities
• Incoming physician will receive a faculty appointment with University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM)
