Job summary

The University of Chicago invites applications for full-time faculty (assistant or associate professor) in General Internal Medicine. Responsibilities include clinical care in our academic primary care clinic and affiliated sites, teaching medical students and residents, and opportunities to participate in inpatient and consult services.

Scholarly activity may be self-identified or aligned with departmental priorities.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required before start.
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Med-Peds.

Responsibilities

• See patients in academic primary care or affiliated sites.
• Attend inpatient general internal medicine teaching service as needed.
• Teach students from Pritzker School of Medicine and residents.
• Engage in scholarly activity aligned with section/department priorities.
