Job summary

Northern Virginia Community College seeks an Academic Integrity Coordinator to design and deliver engaging programs, workshops, and resources on academic integrity to students, faculty, and administrators. The role emphasizes understanding reporting processes, case creation, and FERPA-compliant record-keeping.

The position is part-time (20–29 hours/week) with a daytime schedule, occasional evenings, and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver engaging public presentations and communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with faculty, deans, associate deans, students, and staff.
• Ability to promote, uphold, and apply principles of academic integrity in collaboration with faculty, students, and academic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supports faculty in understanding and navigating the academic integrity reporting process.
• Assists with case creation and closure.
• Helps ensure that records are accurate, confidential, and maintained in FERPA compliance.
• Assists with other initiatives that strengthen NOVA’s academic integrity program.
• Commitment to student-centered practices.
• Assist in tracking trends related to academic integrity cases and education efforts.
