Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking an instructional professional for the San Diego Job Corps Center in Imperial Beach, CA. The role focuses on delivering academic instruction per approved curricula and guiding students to achieve their academic goals.

You will administer assessments, track progress, and maintain attendance using CIS and related systems. A Bachelor's degree with teacher certification or eligibility within 90 days is required, plus one year of instructional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and substitute teaching certification, as required by the state of employment (or be able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire) or
• One (1) year instructional experience preferred.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency also required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for the department.
• Ensure accountability is taken each period and report student absences promptly.
• Participate in student assessment panels, and perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

Wage - $30.06 per hour

Schedule – as needed, Monday – Friday
