• Experience supporting searches, hiring, and appointments in academia.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on academic HR policies and employment matters, including leaves, resignations, and appointment procedures.
• Support academic searches, hiring, and appointments, including search waivers, compensation, and documentation; focus on non-tenure-track appointments.
• Navigate sensitive matters with sound judgment and maintain confidentiality; coordinate policy waivers as needed.
• Support salary and workforce planning processes, including SIP and budgeting; ensure accurate budgeting for academic positions.
• Maintain accurate HR transactions and reporting using Workday and other tools; liaise on Workday initiatives.
• Build relationships with department managers, faculty, college leaders, and campus partners; generate monthly reports for non-professorial appointments.
