Job summary

Tufts Medical Center Physician Organization seeks a full-time Academic Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join a collegial, team-based department in downtown Boston. You will lead inpatient care on General Medicine and related services while teaching residents and medical students, with opportunities for translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role emphasizes teaching, supervision, and quality initiatives within an 84-bed Internal Medicine residency program.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Massachusetts medical license must be obtainable.
• Bilingual or multilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of inpatient care on General Medicine, Geriatric and General Medicine Consult services.
• Precepting and teaching of students and residents.
• Develop and participate in quality programs on the inpatient services.
• Care for diverse patient populations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
