Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an Academic General Internal Medicine Physician at its flagship practice in downtown Boston. This full-time role offers significant opportunities to teach and mentor medical students and residents, providing care to a diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine, with a passion for primary care, and may have additional skills in geriatrics or LGBTQ+ health. Competitive salary and benefits, including retirement plans, are offered.

Qualifications

• Board Eligibility/Certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Additional training in geriatrics, LGBTQ+ health or addiction medicine is a plus.
• Current medical license in Massachusetts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students and precept internal medicine residents.
• Serve as attending physician on inpatient general medicine or geriatrics services.
• Mentor aspiring clinician-investigators.
