Job summary
University of Pittsburgh Physicians (UPP), Section of Hospital Medicine, seeks Board Eligible or Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join our academic hospitalist programs across four Pittsburgh sites.
Physicians will provide comprehensive inpatient care, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinate care to optimize outcomes. Join a multidisciplinary team and engage in teaching, quality improvement, and research within a nationally recognized health system.
Qualifications
- Board eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine.
- Experience in inpatient hospital medicine and team-based care.
- Teaching and mentorship of residents and fellows.
- Ability to work across multiple UPMC sites in Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care from admission to discharge.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Coordinate care to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with APPs, residents, and fellows in a multidisciplinary team.
- Engage in quality, safety, and research initiatives.
