Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh Physicians (UPP) Hospital Medicine section is seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join our academic hospitalist programs across several UPMC sites in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will provide inpatient care from admission to discharge, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinate care to optimize outcomes while teaching residents and fellows in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in inpatient hospital medicine preferred.
• Academic clinical teaching and research involvement encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care from admission to discharge.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with APPs, residents, and fellows in a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in quality improvement and academic activities.
