UPMC Southwestern PA is seeking Board Eligible or Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join our dynamic academic hospitalist programs across multiple UPMC sites in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Physicians provide inpatient care from admission through discharge, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinate care to optimize outcomes. Hospitalists collaborate with APPs, residents, and fellows in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified internal medicine physicians.
• Inpatient hospitalist role with 7-on/7-off schedule and 12-hour shifts.
• Academic teaching and engagement in quality and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care from admission to discharge.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with APPs, residents, and fellows as part of a multidisciplinary team.
