Job summary

University of Pittsburgh Physicians (UPP) seeks Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join academic hospitalist programs across multiple UPMC sites in Pittsburgh. You will provide inpatient care, perform histories and exams, and coordinate evidence-based treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in inpatient hospital medicine preferred.
• Experience working in a teaching hospital environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform detailed histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Engage in quality improvement, education, and academic activities.
