Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Shadyside, UPMC Mercy, and Magee-Women's Hospital Pittsburgh seek Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians for their academic hospitalist programs across Pittsburgh, PA.

Physicians will provide comprehensive inpatient care, develop evidence-based plans, and coordinate care with APPs, residents, and fellows, contributing to teaching and academic activities within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Inpatient hospital medicine experience or training preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based management.
• Comfort with teaching and collaboration with residents/fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care from admission to discharge.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with APPs, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in quality improvement and education initiatives.
