UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks Academic Hospitalists at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Associate Professor. The position offers full-time clinical and academic responsibilities within the Hospital Medicine Division.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching residents and medical students, engaging in quality and safety initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of physicians across diverse clinical

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
• Commitment to participation in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and other scholarly activities.
• We welcome candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional clinical care to a high-complexity patient population on med-surg level units.
• Teach and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students while on teaching services.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a shared visit model during some weeks.
• Closed ICU.
