UT Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting Academic Hospitalists to join the Division of Hospital Medicine at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Associate Professor. This full-time role offers diverse clinical experiences and a pathway to teaching the next generation of physicians.

Hospitalists provide direct patient care on med-surg units, participate in resident and medical student education, and

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent is required.
• Board certification or eligibility by the ABIM is required.
• Unrestricted Texas medical licensure is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional clinical care to high-complexity patients on med-surg units.
• Teach and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students on teaching services.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a shared visit model.
• Work in a closed ICU setting.
