UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks Academic Hospitalists to join the Division of Hospital Medicine at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. This full-time academic role blends direct patient care with teaching and scholarly activity.

Physicians provide care on med-surg units, participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, and mentor residents and medical students while collaborating with advanced practice providers in a shared visit model.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted Texas medical licensure
• Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and scholarly activities
• Open to new graduates and those considering a future sub-specialty fellowship

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional clinical care to a high-complexity patient population on med-surg level units
• Teach and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students on teaching services
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a shared visit model during some weeks
• Work in a closed ICU setting
