Banner University Medicine in Tucson, AZ invites a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join its academic orthopaedic practice. The role includes clinical and surgical duties, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and pursuing research aligned with the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative patient care.
• Interest and experience in academic research preferred.
• NIH research funding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for elective and traumatic hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Participate in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Join an established academic orthopaedic practice with teaching opportunities.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship, and contribute to NIH-funded research initiatives.
