Job summary

Banner University Medicine in Tucson, AZ is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join its established academic practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive hand and upper-extremity surgical care for elective and trauma cases while educating medical students, residents, and fellows.

A faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson will be commensurate with experience and credentials, with opportunities for NIH-funded research

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative patient care.
• Interest and experience in academic research preferred.
• NIH research funding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and clinical care for elective and trauma hand conditions.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in academic research and scholarly activities through the University of Arizona.
