Job summary

Banner University Medicine in Tucson, AZ seeks fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join its academic orthopaedic practice.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive hand and upper-extremity surgical care, participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in research with the University of Arizona. 1.0 FTE with a mix of clinic and surgical days; NIH-funded opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative patient care.
• Interest and experience in academic research preferred.
• NIH research funding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide elective and trauma hand and upper-extremity surgery.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in academic and research activities through the University of Arizona.
