Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join the CHS program, uniting orthopaedic and plastic surgery for comprehensive care. You will build an elective hand/upper extremity practice, participate in a busy trauma service, and educate trainees while contributing to clinical, educational, and scholarly missions.

The position supports academic growth through teaching, departmental service, and translational research, at a department experiencing rapid program

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and active medical licensure eligibility in California.
• Completed ACGME Orthopaedic Surgery residency.
• Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery.
• Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Evidence of scholarly/clinical/translational research activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hand and upper extremity care.
• Develop an elective surgical hand/upper extremity practice within CHS.
• Teach residents, fellows, and medical students; participate in conferences.
• Engage in scholarly activities aligned with Clinical X or HSCP series.
