Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York invites applications for an AP or AP/CP board-certified gastrointestinal pathologist at the rank of Associate Attending Pathologist. Fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology is required, with proficiency in GI and liver sign-out.

The successful candidate will engage in translational and clinical research, provide expert diagnostic services, participate in education for fellows and residents, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Board-certified in anatomic pathology with GI pathology subspecialty.
  • Fellowship in GI and Liver Pathology is required.
  • Active experience or expertise in medical liver pathology sign-out preferred.
  • Strong interest in translational research and collaboration with GI disease teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert diagnostic services in Gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatobiliary Pathology.
  • Engage in collaborative patient care and translational research.
  • Participate in educational programs for trainees in Oncologic Surgical Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, and GI Oncology.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and utilize advanced molecular/digital pathology workflows.
