Job summary

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an Academic Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathologist for a tenure-track/tenured or fixed/variable track position at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Preference given to GI/Liver expertise with optional coverage in related Pathology subspecialties.

The role includes sign-out of GI/Liver surgical pathology, participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and teaching residents,

Qualifications

• Fellowship training or expertise in GI/Liver Pathology preferred.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out of GI/Liver and related Surgical Pathology cases.
• Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Teaching residents and fellows across medical school and graduate programs.
