Qualifications

  • Requires an MD, DO, or MD-equivalent degree and board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Fellowship training or strong experience in GI/Liver pathology preferred.
  • Eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Sign out GI/Liver pathology cases as part of a subspecialized surgical pathology division.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with clinical teams.
  • Teach clinical residents and fellows within the School of Medicine, Graduate School, and Undergraduate School.
  • Opportunities to contribute to research and teaching across UNC-Chapel Hill.
