Job summary

The University of Toledo Health and the College of Medicine and Life Sciences invite applications for a General Urologist in the Department of Urology. This position supports comprehensive patient care while educating future physicians and advancing academic goals.

Responsibilities include clinical care at multiple locations, OR coverage, research and quality improvement, and active involvement in mentorship and departmental service.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology Residency Program or equivalent training.
• ECFMG certification, if applicable.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Ohio.
• Eligible for medical staff appointment and clinical privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of general urologic conditions.
• Perform outpatient and inpatient consultations.
• Perform office-based procedures as well as robotic-assisted surgical procedures.
• Participate in operating room coverage and inpatient rounding.
• Share an equitable call schedule with the Department of Urology.
• Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs; participate in conferences.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
