Albany Medical College seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an opportunity to practice in a busy academic setting with access to clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

The department provides a large clinical volume, robust teaching for medical students and residents, and opportunities for clinical research. Candidates should be MD or DO, licensed in New York, board certified or eligible in OB/GYN.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for or currently licensed in New York State.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in teaching and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide general obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in hospital and home call coverage.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
• Opportunities for clinical research.
