Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This is a busy, full-scope academic setting with access to clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, hospital/home call coverage, teaching medical students and residents, and pursuing clinical research opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for or currently licensed in the New York State.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in teaching and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide general obstetrical and gynecological care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in hospital and home call coverage.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
