Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine with strong clinical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and teach housestaff and students.
• Interest in academic medicine and advancing the Division's mission.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse learners.
• Experience with outpatient and inpatient care as aligned with candidate interests.
• Commitment to professional environment and collegial teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and teach housestaff in outpatient and inpatient settings as desired.
• Participate in daily teaching rounds and educational programs.
• Contribute to clinical and educational research activities as skills and funding allow.
• Provide direct clinical care to ambulatory and hospitalized patients as agreed with Division Chief.
• Participate in night/weekend on-call duties (telephone only, shared among faculty).
• Ensure credentialing, documentation, and billing compliance.
