Qualifications

• Hold an MD or DO degree or equivalent.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care at UVA Health outpatient practices in Charlottesville or Orange.
• Teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and other learners.
• Participating in quality improvement, population health, clinical program development, or other scholarly activities.
• Attending on the internal medicine inpatient service approximately two to four weeks per year.
