Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology, serving a broad range of complex patients across northeastern New York.

You will work in an endoscopy suite with state-of-the-art technologies and anesthesia support, collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, GI pathologists and an on-site infusion clinic, and teach students, residents and fellows while pursuing scholarly research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Active/unrestricted NY license or eligibility for licensure in NY.
• Strong dedication to high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists and infusion clinic on-site.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Conduct research and scholarly activities.
