Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology. You will join a growing team that handles a wide range of complex gastroenterology patients from across northeastern New York, with an endoscopy suite equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and anesthesia support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and GI subspecialty certification/eligibility.
• Active New York medical license or eligibility.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of GI conditions.
• Commitment to patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists and an on-site infusion clinic.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Conduct research and scholarly work.
