Job summary

Albany Medical College in Albany, NY seeks general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology. You will join a growing team handling a wide range of complex GI patients from across northeastern New York.

Responsibilities include performing endoscopic procedures, teaching students and residents, collaborating with surgeons and radiologists, and conducting scholarly work in a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite with anesthesia support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, along with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists and an on-site infusion clinic.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Conduct research and perform scholarly work.
