The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Baltimore VA Medical Center are seeking a full-time general gastroenterologist to provide clinical services across multiple sites in Baltimore. Rank is Assistant Professor or higher, salary commensurate with experience.

Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is $225,865–$438,554, with a comprehensive benefits package and generous leave. U.S.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized domestic university (or foreign equivalent).
• BC/BE in Gastroenterology.
• U.S. citizenship for VA-funded position.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical gastroenterology services at multiple campuses and affiliated centers.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams in a teaching hospital environment.
• Participate in teaching and academic activities for residents and fellows.
