Job summary

The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Washington seeks faculty at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Clinical Practice level to lead the management of luminal GI diseases. The appointment is three years minimum with renewal, aligned to a 12-month service period and with paid time off.

Start date is July 2027. The position offers a competitive base salary with MAC supplements; teaching and patient care are core responsibilities, including oversight of students and fellows

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed ACGME gastroenterology fellowship or foreign equivalent.
• ABIM certification and maintenance of certification in Gastroenterology.
• Possess or eligible for medical licensure in Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical management of patients with luminal GI diseases.
• Perform general GI procedures including endoscopy.
• Contribute to teaching of medical students, residents and GI fellows.
• Engage in clinical service and scholarly activities as part of UW Medicine.
